About The Program

North Carolina Energy Saver offers two complementary programs for qualifying energy efficiency and electrification improvements.

HOMES – Homeowners

Provides rebates for energy efficiency upgrades including insulation, air sealing, and heating/cooling system improvements.

HEAR – Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates

Provides rebates for electrification upgrades, including heat pumps, electric water heaters, and other modern electric appliances.

LivSmart installs approved equipment under applicable state program requirements, as a supporting contractor for the Energy Saver North Carolina program.
